As public and private health care purchasers focus on value, it is critical to align payment with quality. The Leapfrog Group, a national leader in measuring hospital quality, is updating its rewards program to better provide hospitals with financial incentives to provide health care that
is high-quality and efficient.
At this workshop, you will learn about Leapfrog's experiences with the design and implementation of the first generation rewards program, and improvements being made for the second generation. You will hear about the results from the 2008 Leapfrog Survey, and how these results can be translated into meaningful incentives and rewards. The workshop will include case examples of how hospital rewards have been implemented, and the lessons learned for future success.
